Gender roles :)


Antigone is not a typical women, she doesnt keep her mouth shut and obey every law given to her by men. Ismene on the other hand is a typical woman she obeys the laws and holds her tounge. The Golden One from Anthem held up the mold for a typical women until she ran after Equality to live her life out with him. Katniss is nothing like a typical women! She hunts, she cooks, she cleans, sh has killed, and she has lived in the wild. Most books have people following their gender roles because thats what society is based off of.

    I agree, most books like to stereotype or over-exaggerate how people look at genders.
