Antigone is a very rebellious type of woman, who acts very differently than what her society stereotypes women as. Antigone will do whatever she wants when she wants it because in her view, she has nothing to lose because of what Oedipus did to her family (disgrace her family). Ismene, however, comes across as the woman who follows all the rules, such as when she decided to not bury or even honor her other brother who fought against the city. She decided she was not meant to do something like that, and that is why she remained behind, unlike Antigone who went for it. In Anthem, all women are technically equal to men, although it doesn't mean that they will be treated the same exact way; however, the Golden One changed this stereotype by running after Equality rather than stay there and work. Katniss also was different than most women because although she was forced to be frilly and as girly as possible for the crowds, she could care less about her looks. She only cares for her family.

By the way, I forgot to put the subject name, my bad. I would've named it "Gender roles vs. Stereotypes"

Are gender roles and stereotypes the same thing?
