Strong or Weak?

Antigone definitly upholds her character by being independent, strong, and not a person who would just let anything go.  She has a power about her every time she walks into a room or talks to another character. Ismene definitly subverts her character by worring about her own self and no one else.  She is also not the independent character nor is she a strong person or woman for that matter.  In Anthem, the woman was the Golden One.  She was a strong woman because she didn'tcare what happened to her as long as she was with Equality.  In the Hunger Games, Katniss is the main woman role.  She is definitly a very strong woman and is always fighting for her and her family's life everyday.  I do think some novels explain stereotypical types of men and women and some books explain them as they are.
