Taming of the Kate

The theme in the book Taming of the Shrew is how even the meanest of people have a heart. On Act 4,Scene 3, Page 4 Katherine said, "My tongue will tell the anger of my heart,
Or else my heart concealing it will break," This shows how she has anger towards many things and overall is very mean person. She is also saying that she would want someone to take her heart for love or die concealing it. When Kathrine goes on the road to Padua she realizing that she is being to hard and needs to open up. She realizes this when Petruchio acts the same way to her as she acts to everyone else. She notices she is very rude and she starts to open up to him and does whatever he says. At this point she is "tamed"  and she opens up her heart and falls in love.
