Rules or No Rules? Antigone vs. Ismene

Antigone and Ismene are two very different types of women. Each has their own beliefs and ways of living in their society.  Antigone believes that as a woman she should obey certain rules, but it is her duty to break others for what is right. Ismene is a very stick-to-the-rules kind of person. She doesn't want to risk getting in trouble nor does she want the ones she loves to risk going against the rules.
Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games is a strong woman with the help of others. She stands up and doesn't want to be, "... a piece in their games". In Anthem, the Golden One is a strong independent woman. She will disobey rules for the ones she loves. She is  the opposite of Ismene. The novels portray men/women following their expected roles except for the mentioned  independent characters.  The other men in Anthem obey most rules but disobey some behind the government's back. The woman were not mentioned to disobey the government, but the Golden One showed signs of it by being near Equality.
