Many of you have already figured out how to create your own post and publish it to the blog. If you've figured it out, good work! You are awesome. Skip down to the green text.
In case you have not, please follow these steps:
A) You should all have an email invitation from me in your Cherry Creek email account to become an author for this blog. Please check your Creek email and accept the invitation. If you do NOT have an email from me, write your email on a post-it note, and bring it up to my desk. I'll send you a new invite.
B) Follow the link in the email invitation. Select "create a limited blogger profile." Once you've accepted the invitation via email and created your limited blogger profile, you can sign into the blog to create your own post.
-------------------
Now that you've accepted your invitation to post to our blog, you are going to create your very own post. You may want to keep this window open and open a separate tab or window to create your post. Here are your instructions for your first post:
1. Select “Create Post.” Leave the title blank for now.
2. In the body of the post, please respond to the following prompt:
Antigone and Ismene are very different types of women. Explain how each upholds or subverts her role as a typical woman. Consider the other texts we’ve read so far. What sort of female characters appear in Anthem and in The Hunger Games. Are they weak women, strong women, etc.? Do the novels portray men and women as following their "expected" stereotypical gender roles? Explain.
3. Give your post an original title.
4. Hit “Publish.”
5. Refresh the page by clicking on the green blog title (2A English 9).
6. Read and comment on at least one other post.
