My quote/poem

"Beauty is a curse on the world. It keeps us from seeing who the real monsters are"

I like this quote so much because of how utterly true it is. All people see anymore is the outer shell of a human being. They no longer crave to know what a person's personality is like, WHO THEY ARE. If we were all blind and fell in love with what we heard rather than saw the world would be such a better place because most of the monsters in the world hide behind a mask that keeps everyone thinking that they are not monsters. Until you get to know them you have NO IDEA who they are. That's why I like this quote/poem because it explains that the world is really blind and everything gets in the way of the world being okay because of liars, and people who hurt other's. There are so many really good people out there that ask to be pretty/good looking. There is so much depth in those seventeen words. They shed so much light on what the world is actually like not how perfect it is presumed to be.
